A remarkably preserved 600-year-old tomb in Peru has revealed the remains of at least 38 people and a collection of ancient funerary objects. Found at Chan Chan, the former Chimú capital, the undisturbed burial could provide new insight into elite society, ancestor rituals and cultural change in the centuries before and after the Inca conquest.
